Diary of a Dead Wizard - Chapter 17
Chapter 17 It’s Not Easy for Anyone
Kong Sha is not a kind person. Everything she does for Thor requires Thor to pay a price.
Kong Sha chuckled, “What are you afraid of? Didn’t you drink the medicine happily last time?”
Last time, Thor was just a servant, facing the threat of death, and had no power to fight back.
And this time, there are still three months before the first test.
As for how to become stronger, Thor is not completely clueless now, and naturally does not want to spend his future on a bottle of medicine with unknown side effects.
“There is no problem with taking this medicine in the short term, but if you take it for a long time, it will overdraw your potential and consume your vitality. When it is all consumed, you will naturally die.”
Kong Sha changed her tone, “But if you strive for more and work harder, you may become a second-level apprentice before your potential is exhausted. At that time, you don’t have to forcibly improve your magic power, but use witchcraft research to gain achievements, and you can also pass the test every six months.”
After she finished speaking, she raised the small medicine bottle and shook it. The transparent liquid in the small medicine bottle fluctuated, full of temptation.
“Overdrawing potential.” Thor stared at the potion and sighed softly, “If I really take it for a long time, will I never be able to become a formal wizard again?”
“Ha!” Kong Sha was almost laughing to death at what she heard, “You don’t have to be too optimistic! Even I am not sure that I can be promoted to a formal wizard.”
Although this sentence was not said explicitly, it basically confirmed what Thor said.
“I’m sorry, senior sister Kong Sha, I can’t take this medicine.” Thor lowered his head, but his voice was firm.
Kong Sha’s smile disappeared, she stood up and looked at the top of Thor’s head.
In the glass cover on half of the head, five or six eyeballs appeared densely, tightly attached to the glass, staring at Thor fiercely.
Although he didn’t look up, Thor could still feel the endless pressure and fear.
After Thor’s face turned pale and his body began to tremble, Kong Sha smiled and retracted her eyes.
“Do you think three months is a long time? Since you don’t want to, I won’t force you. However, when you regret coming to me, you will need to do more than just this.”
After saying that, Kong Sha seductively walked around Thor and walked out of the dormitory.
After a while, Thor looked back at the closed door and raised his hand to wipe the cold sweat from his forehead.
The cold sweat dripped down his forehead and formed into water drops when he touched it, sliding down the corners of his eyes.
Although it was terrifying, Thor had to refuse Kong Sha’s potion.
First, he couldn’t let himself become Kong Sha’s puppet and gamble his life on the other party’s kindness.
Second, as a time traveler with a hardcover book, he couldn’t be satisfied with the future of a second-level wizard apprentice.
The door of the wizard has opened a small crack to him, and just a glimpse is enough to make Thor fascinated.
“Am I born lucky? Why do I always encounter various dangers? It’s too difficult to survive in this world!”
There was Cid in front and Kong Sha behind, and Mark in the middle had an unclear attitude.
There is Kaz above, Brown below, and Duke is hiding bad water around him.
Is there no good person in this wizard tower?
Can’t he live the life of an ordinary apprentice, study honestly, and not encounter an enemy every step he takes?
Because of the shock just now, Thor’s hands and feet are still a little sore. He barely moved two steps and then let himself fall on the bed.
“After rejecting Kong Sha, I can only find a way to become stronger for the time being.”
Thor covered his eyes with his left hand, and the cold and hard bones stung his eyelids.
“Damn, at worst I will give up! There are classes tomorrow… sleep!” After
half a night of sleep and intermittent nightmares, Thor didn’t rest well at all.
But he still got up early in the morning, with two dark circles under his eyes, and found George who was working on the fourth floor before class.
George was very excited when he saw Thor coming. He would have to do the work of cleaning the corridor in the early morning tomorrow. Although he might not encounter any problems, it would be better not to go.
As long as Thor valued him, other male servants would not dare to assign him dangerous work.
“Sir, are you here to take me as your personal servant?” George’s eyes were shining.
“Not yet.”
George was still a child, and he immediately showed a disappointed expression, but he quickly cheered up, “I know, sir, George is always looking forward to serving you!”
Thor talked about business, “Has anyone come to see Brown these days?”
George shook his head, “We are together when we rest, and he is always there at that time. But I don’t know about him at night.”
Thor thought, maybe the person who instructed Brown to target him has not appeared yet.
He changed the way of asking, “Before that, after I was injured, have you ever seen a blond young man of eighteen or nineteen come to see Brown?”
Sol described the appearance of the second-level apprentice Sid.
George opened his mouth wide after hearing this.
Seeing George’s expression, Sol immediately asked, “Have you seen him?”
George stuttered, “Sir, I haven’t seen him come to Brown… But, but, isn’t the person you are talking about the one who hit you with a book… and hurt you?”
Sol’s eyes widened.
His incomplete memory had never told him who killed the original owner of the body. After George reminded him, a series of pictures suddenly appeared in Sol’s mind.
The fear sealed by death broke out in an instant.
It was a bright but still creepy big room.
It was rows of towering bookshelves.
It was a blond young man with a weird look, constantly pulling books out of the bookshelf and putting them back.
It was a few vague whispers about “diary”.
It was the angry expression when he turned around and saw himself.
It was a hardcover book that was thrown at him casually, as thick as a palm.
It was a dizziness mixed with intense fear and severe headache.
It was a dead silence and darkness…
Thor’s body shook, shocked.
What surprised him was not that Sid had killed “him”, but the hardcover book.
It was the hardcover book floating on his left shoulder!!!
Thor had always thought that the hardcover book was a benefit, a cheat, or a golden finger for his time travel. Unexpectedly
, the hardcover book was actually something that existed in this world!
He resisted the urge to look at his left shoulder.
Then he thought of the word “diary” he heard from Sid, and the familiar format before the words appeared on the hardcover book…
Was what Sid was looking for the hardcover book that he had thrown over?
Thor sneered.
I don’t know if Sid realized it.
If the other party found that the hardcover book was what he was looking for, then there would be a reason for the many murderous intentions that Thor had encountered these days.
Thor didn’t know how to separate the hardcover book, and it was even more impossible for him to give up the hardcover book.
“Then there will be no end to the fight.” He thought to himself, and he didn’t feel much fear anymore.
Looking up, seeing George looking at him anxiously, Thor softened his expression, “Okay, go back. I’ll transfer you out when I’m settled down.”
George was happy now. With Thor’s words, his life could be extended for several years.
After leaving the jubilant George, Thor went to say hello to the housekeeper.
The other party was very respectful when he saw him, and readily agreed not to arrange George to do dangerous tasks.
After that, Thor hurriedly packed up and rushed to the East Tower.
The first class today is the basic cognition of all things.
Thor arrived late, and Keli had already reserved a seat for him.
“You’re finally here. If you didn’t come, I would have thought that something happened to you.” Keli touched her chin again, “Although I think it’s impossible.”
“Also? Who’s in trouble?”
Is there someone more unlucky than himself?
Keli said a name that Thor had never heard of.
“He’s crazy.” Seeing that Thor didn’t look panicked like the others, Keli asked, “Why aren’t you surprised at all?”
“I’ve seen the horror here, but I didn’t expect someone to go crazy just one day later.” Thor whispered.
If it weren’t for the appearance of Fen Da last night, his best outcome would probably be to go crazy.
