Diary of a Dead Wizard - Chapter 71
Chapter 71 The Person Trapped in the Back
“Are they actually the same person?”
Having seen many strange wizard apprentices, Thor guessed the reason why the three people in front of him were so strange.
But he soon found out that he was wrong.
The folding door was pushed open a little, and a boy with blond hair and blue eyes walked out and nodded to the girl in the first place.
Then he turned and left.
The man who came out was also wearing the same clothes, with the same second-level apprentice name tag on his clothes.
The first female apprentice walked in through the crack of the door, and Kaz took the opportunity to take Thor into the room.
After entering the room, Thor immediately used his peripheral vision to look for the figure of mentor Rum.
This room is indeed very large.
Due to the area of the wizard tower itself, its width is limited, but its length should be quite long.
The reason why it should be is that there are only heavy curtains made of leather on both sides of the room.
Each curtain is one meter wide and made of thick material, and it will not shake.
This room has no walls, only such curtains.
The female apprentice who came in before Thor and the others had already walked to the right and opened a curtain with her hands.
Thor leaned over slightly to see the next “room”.
Then he saw a beam of light, hitting the ground obliquely.
Thor blinked, and felt that the beam of light was different from the ordinary candlelight.
He suddenly became a little nervous again, but not because of the upcoming mentor Rum.
“Rum?” Kaz did not rush into the space on the left and right, but just raised his voice to ask.
“Humph!” A response came from the right, but the tone didn’t seem good.
“Hey.”
Kaz raised his hand and motioned Thor to follow.
The two of them opened the curtain from the place where the apprentice just passed, leading to the next “room”.
The moment Thor passed through, he felt that the temperature in the room was higher than other places.
He subconsciously looked in the direction of the source of warmth, and saw it – the sun!
He suddenly burst into tears.
On the outer wall, a small window of one meter square was embedded in the wall. The dark window opened outwards, and because of the thickness of the outer wall, only a small half of it was visible outside the wall.
It was that beam of light that shone through the thick outer wall, as if it had passed through a starry sky, and shone obliquely on the ground, bringing a different kind of warmth to the entire cold room.
Thor hadn’t seen the sun for more than three months!
“There will be another chance in the future.” He sighed softly in his heart, letting the tears that were about to overflow shrink back into his eyes, and took two quick steps to catch up with Teacher Kaz in front of him.
After a few steps, there was only a faint mist in his eyes. Even when he passed the beam of light and felt the warm light personally, he did not lose his composure again.
Teacher Rum was sitting on the inside of this room. Thor saw a mountain of meat when he passed through the beam of light.
He had seen fat people weighing hundreds of pounds on TV and on his mobile phone. Many of them were so fat that they couldn’t move even when lying on the bed.
Even those people couldn’t be described as a mountain of meat.
But the one in front of him definitely could.
He should be a man, with fat all over his body covering all external gender characteristics, and half-long and messy blond hair hanging down to his chin, supported by the fat on his chin. There was no beard, and his nose was sunken into the fat on his cheeks. Only the area around his eyes was relatively flat.
His most prominent part was his belly.
The entire belly was layered, and it was impossible to tell where the chest was and where the lower abdomen was. His legs were completely invisible under the fat like a puffy skirt.
But his arms were surprisingly slender, growing from the shoulders to two meters long, and divided into three sections, which seemed not to be human limbs.
Could this person be Rum?
The meat mountain ignored Kaz and Thor who came in, and used his extremely long hands to grope the female apprentice who came in earlier.
The female apprentice had a blank expression and allowed him to check her whole body.
There was no obscene atmosphere here. Rum’s expression was slightly scrutinizing and picky, as if he was checking a cabbage in the vegetable market to see if there were any rotten leaves on it.
“Go to the stage and lie down.”
The female apprentice was finally let go, walked to a thin and cold iron table next to Rum, and began to take off her clothes.
She was not wearing a top under her robe, but her lower body was neatly dressed in pants.
No one in the room turned their eyes away.
Even Thor watched silently.
He had seen many n*ked bodies of women in the morgue, but this was the first time he had seen a living one.
The female apprentice’s movements did not slow down at all because of the presence of outsiders. After exposing her upper body, she quietly lay on the long iron bed, pulled aside her golden hair, and exposed her fair back.
Rum stretched out his slender hands and gently pressed on the female apprentice’s back.
A golden rune array suddenly appeared in the middle of the latter’s fair skin.
Some lines and Noah characters were interspersed in the fine runes. It was the first time Thor had seen such an array, and he could not help but take a few more glances.
Suddenly, in Thor’s eyes, those golden runes suddenly changed their positions and formed a male face. The eyeballs formed by the runes turned around and stared at Thor.
Thor immediately lowered his head and looked away.
At the same time, he also missed the unexpected glance that Rum threw at him.
Not long after, Rum finished the inspection and waved his hand for the female apprentice to put on her clothes and leave.
“Not bad, next one.”
The female apprentice still had a blank expression on her face, and no emotion could be seen.
After she left, Rum sighed softly.
Then he immediately put away his emotions and looked at Thor behind Kaz, but he was talking to Kaz.
“Is this the person you recommended? He killed my lab assistant, why do you think I would agree?”
“Because he is suitable.” Kaz shrugged.
“Suitable? A new apprentice, what do you think he can do?”
“If he doesn’t know, he can learn.” Kaz said indifferently.
Rum raised his lips and laughed briefly, “How long will it take to learn? How much time do you think he can waste on me?” Kaz
said indifferently, “So what if it’s a waste of time? Haven’t we wasted enough time?”
Seeing that Kaz was not in a very good mood, Rum slowed down his tone.
“Have you seen Kira?” “
It’s time to call Kira-sama, she has advanced to the second level.”
“Second-level wizard?” Rum was a little surprised, but soon turned into a trance, “She has advanced? But I’m afraid I can’t be promoted in this life.”
Kaz didn’t say anything, and seemed to agree with Rum’s sigh.
The room was a little quiet for a while.
After a while, the sound of the second male apprentice entering the room interrupted their thoughts.
Rum came back to his senses and said to Kaz, “You go back. I want to test him. If it doesn’t work, I will let him go back alive.”
Kaz hesitated. He looked back at Thor and seemed to want to say something, but in the end he said nothing. He just patted Thor on the shoulder and left the room.
Thor didn’t expect it.
Would Master Kaz not help him explain the matter of Sid?
Or did he think that as long as Rum didn’t kill him, it would be good to expose this matter even if he suffered a little?
Rum cast a cold look, making Thorton feel that he was also stripped of his shirt.
The second apprentice had already walked in front of Rum.
Rum was not in a good mood, so he pinched him twice and let him lie on the iron bed.
“Observe carefully, I will ask you later.”
“Seriously? Are you talking to me?”
Although he was still a little confused about the situation, Thor saw that Rum had started to move, and quickly put himself into a semi-immersed meditation state.
This is his serious work attitude!
This time, from his perspective, the golden runes behind the male apprentice appeared and quickly formed a woman’s head.
Thor endured the discomfort and continued to stare at the changes in the runes, carefully examining and analyzing the function of each rune.
It’s just that most of the runes in this magic circle are composite runes, some of which he has never even seen before. So after looking at it for a long time, he only has a partial understanding.
But at this moment, he suddenly saw a white translucent human head suddenly rushing out of the magic circle.
But there seemed to be a suction force on it, stopping him.
The facial features that were pulled back to the limit were very similar to the female head composed of golden runes!
Thank you for the reward!
It was actually strongly recommended on the new book, what a pleasant surprise! It’s time to add more chapters to celebrate, but I was sick all week and didn’t save the manuscript. I will work hard and complete the extra chapters this week!
Thank you all for your continued support, and keep reading~
(Also whisper: It’s not water, crises need villains, and new villains need time to appear)
