Starting from the Planetary Governor - Chapter 5
Chapter 5, Green Beast
How difficult are the green-skinned beasts known as the cancer of the universe?
Gu Hang saw it with his own eyes today.
As the battle was drawing to a close, he personally led the remaining troops into the battlefield, intending to put an end to the battle and feel the smell of gunpowder from a close distance. He then heard a huge roar of a beast, like a bear.
Then, a mutant giant at least two meters two meters tall, with well-developed and strong muscles and dark green skin, appeared in front of him.
This guy was almost n*ked, with only a few strips of cloth hanging on his body. It was obvious that his sudden enlargement had burst his original clothes.
His skin was dark green all over and looked very rough. The firearm in his hand was of a wild style, and most of the parts looked quite messy. In the hands of ordinary people, it looked like a hand cannon or a rocket launcher, but in the hands of this guy, it was just like a normal shotgun, and he could even hold it with one hand.
After he appeared, he immediately attracted the attention of the surrounding soldiers. The G7 ‘Assaulter’ rifles in the hands of the mechanical servants were aimed at him, and the triggers were pulled. The firepower of the automatic rifles covered him fiercely.
However, a surprising scene happened: this dark green mutant giant was not hurt after being shot so many times!
At this moment, at least a dozen rifles were pointed at him. He did not fall down, and the soldiers held the triggers and did not let go, and all fired a full volley of bullets at him. This green-skinned monster was large and did not move around, so most of the bullets hit the target.
Logically speaking, unless he was really an iron man, any piece of meat would be smashed.
But it didn’t.
This guy was still standing there.
Some bullets were bounced off, some bullets lost all kinetic energy and fell down, and some bullets were embedded in the skin and muscles but could not penetrate…
Some blood flowed, but it was definitely not a serious injury.
Kaga, who had just completed the transformation, came to his senses after the initial confusion. He still had some self-thinking, knowing that even if he had transformed and become stronger, his primary goal was to escape as soon as possible.
So, he ran out of the camp.
His taller body and stronger muscles did not make him bloated, but made him faster and more flexible. After he started moving, the hit rate of the servitors plummeted.
If he didn’t care and just ran, he might have a chance to escape.
But in the process, his attention was always attracted by the nearby servitors, and he couldn’t help wanting to attack them.
On the one hand, being beaten made him irritable, and the bullets fired by the ‘Assaulter’ rifle were not fatal, but they were still painful; on the other hand, the effect of the potion quickly entered his brain, and the bloodthirsty desire kept urging him to kill.
Finally, he couldn’t help it.
He was still running, just slowing down a little. He turned his head, aimed the ugly and rough gun in his hand at a servitor, and pulled the trigger.
Thick black smoke came out of the muzzle, and the clustered shotgun pellets sprayed out, directly blowing away the entire upper body of the servitor soldier. The bloody flesh and blood were blown all over the sky, and many of them even splashed on Kaga’s body.
The green beast bathed in blood became even more violent.
He pulled the bolt and fired another round, and another servitor soldier died tragically.
The bullet did not fire again. There were only two rounds in his shotgun.
Kaga instinctively reached into his arms, as if he wanted to reload, but he touched nothing. All his clothes were blown up, not to mention the ammunition he carried with him.
He simply threw away the wild shotgun and rushed directly towards the third victim.
The servitor soldier who was targeted raised his gun and fired, fighting and retreating, but before he could fire a few rounds, the extremely fast green beast had already rushed in front of him. With a big hand, the servitor was directly grabbed and lifted up, and then the whole body was torn in half.
Lifting the corpse above his head, blood poured down from his head, Kaga was filled with joy, and even felt that his already unrivaled physique had been further improved. The little bit of rationality he had left made him understand that this was the potion he had taken before that further stimulated his body’s potential, which might not be a good thing. But that little worry and struggle was immediately washed away by the surging desire to fight.
He just wanted to keep killing.
A grenade was thrown at his feet and exploded, but before that, Kaga had rolled on the spot to avoid it.
A machine gunner set up a firing point a hundred meters away, and a series of bullets whizzed in. But at this distance, the fighting instinct engraved in the potion and spread to Kaga’s blood allowed him to not only avoid most of the bullets but also keep charging forward with his snake-like movements.
At this moment, his eyes were already red, and he just wanted to tear the machine gunner to pieces.
But at this moment, he suddenly staggered, and then his whole body fell heavily to the ground due to inertia.
He couldn’t feel his left leg, as if his left leg was cut off by something.
Looking down, his left leg was still growing on his body, and he didn’t even suffer too much injury. But he couldn’t control it at all, as if the leg growing on his body was not his own.
He barely supported himself with his hands and his remaining foot. Looking up, he saw a man in fancy clothes, protected by several marines, coming from behind the machine gunner.
He opened his mouth and tried to roar, but a series of machine gun bullets all hit him, stifling his roar.
Even the squad machine gun bursts, which were much more powerful than the ‘Assaulter’ rifle, could not quickly kill him. However, the ‘Eagle’ electromagnetic rifles in the hands of the marines were something on another level.
The metal spikes fired by electromagnetic acceleration could penetrate his epidermis and muscle defenses. After the four marines emptied their magazines, Kaga had been beaten into a hornet’s nest.
But he was not dead yet, he still had a breath, and even the holes in his body were slowly repairing themselves.
Gu Hang walked forward and said, “Is this Kaga? The leader of the Prisoners of the Dead? Being able to transform humans… The technology of those greenskins is a bit outrageous.”
He didn’t really care about Kaga himself, but the condition he showed after the mutation was worrying.
Kaga couldn’t speak anymore, and could only make some meaningless roars from his throat.
Gu Hang was too lazy to say anything more, he waved his hand, and the soldiers behind him took over the finishing work.
The electromagnetic rifle fired a series of metal spikes, beating the green beast’s head into a meat paste.
Dealing with a greenskin is a very troublesome thing. Killing is only the first step, and the places where its blood flowed and the places where the body stayed must be burned with high-temperature flames. Otherwise, it may not take too long for a bunch of mushrooms to grow here, and then turn into a green monster. First it was a fart spirit, then a goblin, and then an orc boy…
Although this green beast should be the leader of the “Prisoners of the Dead” who mutated for some reason, who knows if there will be similar situations?
Anyway, the battle was over, and there was plenty of time to clean up the battlefield.
Gu Hang also had to count his gains.
[Great victory, 19 points of gifts]
[9 losses, 146 destroyed, 11 captured]
[1st Mecha Servant Light Infantry Battalion: 9 losses, 105 destroyed]
[Marines: 0 losses, 41 destroyed]
