The idea of opening this book was actually quite impulsive.

When writing a book, what is the most important thing in choosing a subject? Is it the market acceptance? Is it within the scope of my ability to write?

These are important, but not the most important.

In my opinion, the most important thing is what do I want to create and express?

What do I want to write? Interstellar themes, space operas, World War I/World War II style wars, cannons, tanks, mechas, special forces, trench warfare, human wave charges…

Then find ways to make these ideas concrete. Total War + Stellaris + Hearts of Iron + Warhammer 40k… Putting these things together makes me excited.

Then I started writing, and I didn’t listen to the advice. I published it as soon as I finished writing.

The beginning was not smooth, and the results were not very good. When the editor told me that Sanjiang could be published, I was really surprised and delighted. I thought it was hopeless…

Of course, the results are still not very good in general.

I was also prepared.

I wrote what I wanted to write, and then I hope to find readers who can resonate with me. This is my goal.

That’s about the origin of the book. It will be published tonight. I will tell you about the update plan.

For the long-term update in the future, the daily quota is 4,000 words, which is about 2 chapters. Sometimes it may be combined into one chapter. I will try to send all of them out at noon.

Some comrades say it’s too little, and I can’t do anything about it. When people reach middle age, their energy is not good. They have their own jobs and families, so it’s difficult to make more promises.

But I will try my best to add more chapters on the basis of 2 chapters. I hope to be able to update 3 chapters frequently, but this is not guaranteed. I can only say that

2 chapters are the minimum. If the average subscription is over 1,000, I will add one chapter!
